train were attacked by a terrorist in Northern Bavaria/Germany, four of the most seriously injured persons
were members of a Chinese family from Hong Kong, visiting Germany as tourists, i.e. a Chinese father in
the age of 62, the mother being 58 years old with her daughter, 26 years old and her boyfriend, 30 years
old. Only the fifth family member, the 17-year-old son succeeded in escaping from this attack unhurt. This
concrete sad example shows that terrorism can hit anybody anytime everywhere in the world.
As most sound and serious businessmen would refuse to get involved in drug and weapon dealings, the
same should apply for the manufacture and trade with counterfeit goods of any kind. They are converted
into deadly weapons in the hands of terrorists and therefore in Far East same as everywhere else on this
globe such activities should be strictly outlawed not only by the citizens and businesses of this world. In
addition, the politicians, governments and enforcement authorities should ultimately wake up and become
much more active in this field by not closing their eyes what is going on in flea markets and other points of
sales of counterfeits and in particular also on diverse online platforms. TSMA can certainly play a prominent
role in this fight against this infectious and now also proven deadly 21st century plague.
