Few sports industrial entrepre- neurs are investing in this field and providing the relevant sports services According to the annual reports of the Status Quo Survey of Taiwanese Sports Population and Development issued by Sports Administration under the Ministry of Education, more than half of the middle-aged and elderly people are doing sports in their neighborhood, that is, nearby parks, plazas, and pedestrians. The next is the sports fields within the campus or the national fitness clubs or nationals sports center. With a view of unique physical functions and psychological conditions of the middle-aged and elderly people, the design of sports apparel requires a higher level of complexity and pro- fessionalism. For an instance, the middle-aged and elderly people often have the problems of high blood pressure, high blood sugar, and high blood cholesterol as well as joint problems which are chronical diseases in the modern times. If the health service providers for exam- ple sports trainers are not well-informed, they might lead these people to get injured and dis- putes happen from time to time. What is more, certain challenges needs to be overcome.
