Then, a survey is conducted to investigate the old people’s experiences and feelings on using various resistance sources. Four different kinds of resistance sources in the high, medium, low loads conditions, the rate of force development and the whole muscle performance as Figure 1. Figure 2 shows four different resistance sources in high, medium, low loads conditions and the whole muscle activation performance. Based on Figure 1, the rate of force development performance has positive effects with load levels after using four kinds of training equipment. Compared with Figure 2, it is found that the rate of force development from 0 to 200 ms has positive relationship with muscle activation. Only the muscle activation effects of hydraulic training apparatus are different from the other three kinds of training equipment. The differences might result from the powerful instant resistance created by hydraulic device. It leads to the earlier timing of force development. The operator cannot keep forcing and create such a phenomenon because the action-accelerating process is over. Consequently, at that stage most muscles have been used. If we want to keep the same rate of force development, we need to increase the loads so as to reach the target.
