Inertia resistance training due to the unique characteristics is to overcome the still inertia so as to complete concentration movement before actions. In eccentric period of time, it is necessary to overcome the previous rolling power with greater muscle strength so to succeed in the eccentric contraction training and improve the function performance in daily life. Hydraulic resistance training equipment features concentric and concentric contraction. In the progress, action requires the user to do his or her best. Scholars point out that in the process of hydraulic training, the heartbeat of the user might reach 84% of the maximum heartbeat. There are distinct differences among various resistance sources. Different training methods create different performance effects. However, even with understanding of all kinds of resistance sources and training effects, it is uncertain which resistance source is appropriate for the elderly to use. In order to make objective comparisons, this study focuses on different levels of intensity and then recognizes which resistance source and resistance apparatus is better for the old people to use.
