Fears are widespread that a second lockdown in certain countries could again hit the global economy with even more negative consequences than the first one had in 2020. Until to date it seems that the global sporting goods Industry sector got off the crisis with a slap on the wrist. Certain segments such as running, hiking, cycling and home fitness have even been booming thanks to an increased consumer demand in these areas.
