The pandemic forced a new workout pattern around the world, brought the “at home sports” into the main market. “Contactless” digital interac- tive devices set a new trend. “Smart trainer mirror” is launched in the market to build a “trainer at your home” experience and through AI image action identification and visual monitor system, with smart wearable device connection (such as heart- beat monitor or Apple Watch), as well as mirror display and action image, body indicators can be examined at any time. The e-coach prompts proper advice to improve body postures and minimize sports injury. The technology provides another way to getting appropriate fitness instructions without going outdoor. The remote interaction is the new workout style de jour. In the future, the industry transformation is on the fast track with contactless, remote digital experience which integrates IoT and AI into AIoT, with 5G infrastructure and technology to expand new business opportunities from high tech interactive experience. Threatened by COVID-19 (Wuhan Coronavirus), our international and domestic markets are under great duress. The government launched salary ex- pense subsidy, domestic needs expansion and eco- nomic revival plans to stabilize Taiwanese sporting goods industry, and stimulate the post-pandemic market. Meanwhile, benefiting from the transfer of orders due to US-China trade war, three action plans, “Welcome Taiwanese Companies Return to Taiwan”, “Keep the Root in Taiwan, Accelerate In- vestment in Taiwan”, and “SMEs Accelerated Invest- ment in Taiwan”, are launched to accelerate manu- facturers’ return, lift up local industry development, and more importantly, to keep key technologies in Taiwan for a stronger future industry development.
