Single leg deadlift, also called Romanian Deadlift (RDL), is an alternative training. In essence, running is a kind of sports which legs take turns to move forward. Naturally, we would expect the strength or mobility of right and left legs would be more or less the same. RDL is a great training to strengthen the muscles power and stability of one single leg and pelvic. And if the hamstrings are much restrained, the performance of RDL will be limited. Thus, whenever RDL gives such tense feelings, it is better to do stretch first with weight fitness equipment.
