In the past, patients who had completed the surgery would enter the rehabilitation program after the initial resting peri- od. However, many research cases prove that, be- sides the rehabilitation of the physical therapist, if the patient at this stage can seek the sports science coach at the same time, the rehabilitation effect of the patients will be much better. In Finland, sports science coaches also help seniors to build their muscles, increase body softness and mobility to enhance their quality of life. Another trend in the future of sports science is the exercise program for chronic patients such as diabetes, high blood pressure and heart disease. In the past, these patients did not have a deep understanding of training, but a lot of literature confirmed that for these chronic patients would be treated better if they do the proper training and the degree of improvement of their symptoms is even better than the effect of drugs. Once medical pro- fessionals and sports sciences could work together to improve the quality of their service or these chronic patients, for the industry, because of this combination, many new types of service opportu- nities have been added, bringing about industrial innovation and change. In the future, sports train- ing will become one of the doctor’s prescriptions, especially in the prevention stage, the role played by sports training is more important. In general, the scope of application of sports science has become more and more popular not only because of the development of wearable devices and also because the concept of sports science has become more widely spread with the help of social media. Sports science started not only to serve professional athletes but also general public. Meanwhile, sports training becomes one of the prescriptions for the patients. Based on the trends mentioned, sports science becomes the new trigger point of the revolution of sports industry is predictable and the effect will be deep and wide.
