79 Taiwan Sporting Goods Manufacturers Association one are niche players, that is, most of the enterprises without a leading position; the other are keystones, or hub landlords or called as dominators. They are a small group which occupies the leading position. Niche players usually have unique capabilities. The whole number of them is high and constitute most parts of the ecosystem. Keystones build up the platform in the business ecosystem, providing niche players all kinds of resources. They create a wide-ranged survival space and take good care of the interest of most niche players. Then, a healthy business ecosystem can be maintained and further develops with prosperity. The diversity in the ecosystem can be also kept. And the ability to protect the ecosystem and prevent from external threats will be enhanced. (Guo-Tay Kuo, etc. 2008). Hub landlords are the value thieves. They aim at stealing values rather than creating them. They continues to steal created values and occupy them for their own interests. They even deprive or sacrifice niche players in the ecosystem regardless of the existence of the entire ecosystem. The strategies of hub landlords are the least desirable for those companies who have the leading position. Iansitiet et al. (2004b) also discovers that the most successful strategies for leaders is to choose a main role and take good care of the interest of niche players. Leaders choose to become hub landlords or dominators. They will not care for the major niche players and endanger the whole ecosystem. In the end, they will also end up their own existence. They will see their choice is not good at all.
