37 Taiwan Sporting Goods Manufacturers Association Taiwan is renowned for its sporting goods industry, which is an important source of Taiwan’s foreign exchange earnings. Taiwanese manufacturers of sporting goods provide the global market with a vertically integrated network of production clusters, which have helped Taiwan become a major global sporting goods supply base. TSMA has made great efforts in bringing Taiwan’s sporting goods to the world. As a close partner of the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) for many years, TSMA has successfully helped organize major exhibitions such as TaiSPO, one of the most famous international exhibitions in Taiwan. This exhibition facilitates Taiwanese manufactures and foreign buyers of sporting goods to effectively catch the latest design trends in sporting goods. TaiSPO provides a smart one-stop sourcing and procurement platform for professional buyers who aim at high-end sporting goods. I am confident that TSMA will continue to lead Taiwan’s sporting goods industry into the future. This new edition of TSMA yearbook will keep on the growth momentum of the industry.
