To develop artificial intelligence and internet information technology are its major strategies on its“Industrial Intelligence”. • Japanese enterprises establish an alliance on“Industrial Value Chain Leadership”, with cross- industry and cross-business models to connect the factories of small-and-medium enterprises. • According to the statistics of Japan Robot Industry Association, the production value target of domestic robot industry reaches 750 billion Japanese Yuan in 2017. That will be the highest record over the past 11 years. • Japanese private-sector autonomous working committees promote inter- enterprise cooperation and then they make proposals to the government as a base to formulate policies. • The government is formulating preferential policies on industrial intelligence, and encourage more investment and broad cooperation among members of the society. General Electric Company together with industries, governmental organizations and academics establish Smart Manufacturing Leadership Consortium (SMLC). • “Advanced Manufacturing Partnership” is a project to ensure the leadership position of the U.S.A. based on internet and software advantages. • In order to cultivate new talents and technology, the American government establishes“National Network for Manufacturing Innovation (NNMI) ”, and develop localized manufacturing innovation institutes and related organizations all around the country. • Donald Trump regards the manufacturing backflow as his priority policy and formulate non-tariff barriers, strengthen domestic production advantages, and plans to reduce business income tax rate and the corporate repatriation tax rate.
